Every day I sit down to write.  When I like what I’ve written, I keep writing. When I don’t like what I’ve written, I also keep writing. Then I get up and make a batch of chocolate chip cookies. I share my cookies and my writing with anyone who will have them, and I hope to see my books in libraries, bookstores, and children’s hands some day.

 

I live in Kirkland, WA, with my husband and three sons who love everything I write--and they don’t mind the cookies, either. I also have two cats who would love me to stop writing and wave a feather toy around instead.
